In 1982 we enclosed the back portion of our property to eliminate the loss of wet seed we suffered each year by storing seed in the open. This addition to our existing building measured 142' x 257' . In order to receive a permit for this addition we had to install a sprinkler system in the new addition, which we did. Concrete slabs form the east wall of the new addition. The east wall separates the new addition from the existing building. The other three walls of the new addition are all galvanized metal. We installed 2 - 14' firedoors on the east and west walls of the addition respectively. We are now anticipating installing a gravity cleaner, seed cleaner and box dumper in the southeast section of this ad The city inspector has notified me we are required to erec a two.hour r - wall between our proposed cleaning line and the ba a of t e storage area. All of our seed in the storage area is contained in metal boxes. The mill equipment is all made of metal and no combustible material will be in this area. We have an overhead sprinkler system and two large firedoors in close proximity to this area.
