More information. I left for work at 6 am. I didn't smell an odor. I received a call from my Wife, at 7:27, she
stated that the odor was inside the house.

Matthew,
Thank you for this additional information. It helps to get more details about the conditions that might be causing the
odors. I know you have a backwater valve installed between your house and the connection to the sewer. What are you
seeing happen at the backwater valve? Can we schedule a time to meet at your property to help me better understand
the conditions on and around your property? Please feel free to give me a call at 208-735-7272.
Thanks,
Nathan Erickson

\[EXTERNAL SENDER\]
I arrived home at a little after 5 o'clock. I could smell an odor behind the house on my porch in the backyard. I know you
covered the lid at the street so I did walk to the front of the house and then approach the front of the house I could not
smell the odor. I walked up the street just a little bit to the cover. No odor at all. And back to my house went up on the
roof and sure enough the odor is being pushed out of my roof vent stacks, not pleasant. I walked the property to the
south behind the neighbors house. I couldn't smell any older, not sure if there's any coming out of his house . But there's
definitely odor in the back porch making the backyard unusable.
Months ago I spent quite a bit of money trying the roof stack one-way valve vents like you use on a septic system. This
made it so my system wouldn’t flush correctly and the sewage wouldn’t even get out of the pipe so I don’t know how to
keep the odor off of my property unless I was disconnected from the city, and that’s not gonna work without a septic
system.
