We moved in back in June 2020 and soon noticed a smell that
determine source of
often showed up during the evening. Our next door neighbors
odor:
informed us that they had been dealing with it for a few years. It
was suspected to be coming from the sugar beet factory and
often would last into the middle of the night. The smell is best
described as a brunt organic matter that is pungent.
Another guess has been the cremation building, south of town.
This is also guessed to be contributing to the smells as there
are days and nights when a new smell comes about. This smell
is of something like dead animals rotting.
And unfortunately there are two other smells that come about
from time to time. These smells are a musky sulfuric type and
sewage like smell.
Like I said before these smells are not new they have been
around for some time. Even the ones I've described later have
been noticed for at least a year now. There might be another
smell to add to the list but the ones I mentioned before are
definitely the ones that are most noticeable.
