A large crash led to a DUI arrest and the use of a TFCSO DRE. Sgt Loosli came in to work the aggressive driving grant and arrested a DUI. We had several Mountain Lion sigh?ngs reported and Sgt Howe came in to assist with the drone, but we were never able to lay eyes on the elusive predator. A domes?c ba?ery/Agg Assault occurred at Monterey Motor Inn where the male half held a knife to the female’s throat. Oﬃcer Smith was dispatched to the hospital for a “delayed shoo?ng” and when he arrived, he found a male who accidentally shot himself in the bu?ocks two days ago, when ge?ng in his vehicle. Too embarrassed to go to the hospital, he had his friend pour gunpowder in the wound and light it on ﬁre in an a?empt to cauterize the wound. Later he thought it was ge?ng infected, so same friend poured alcohol on the wound and again lit it on ﬁre, however the alcohol ran down to his nether regions and when it was lit on ﬁre it, of course, caused severe burns. On call was no?ﬁed. (P.S. Recruit Buﬀ submi?ed a warrant for a misdemeanor Dom Ba? at 339 Ash for Rammah Talib, he ﬂed scene prior to our arrival and is s?ll at large CR#24001343) Saturday- Oﬃcers were dispatched to a possible Agg Assault at 281 Robbins Ave where one resident had threatened another with some sort of home-made wooden shank. At the conclusion of the inves?ga?on Jason Roth was arrested for Agg Assault and then had to be placed in the wrap as he would not stop banging his head against the back window of the patrol car. While on a disturbance call on Willmore Ave Oﬃcers Smith and Jordan located a suspicious vehicle and ul?mately everyone in the car was either cited for MIP or arrested for cocaine and warrants. Later a ﬁght broke out at the Klover Klub in which Eddie Harris is the suspect in an Aggravated Ba?ery and Possible Robbery (CR#24001370). Mr. Harris le? before LE arrived and stories from witnesses are inconsistent, on call was no?ﬁed and the case will be forwarded to detec?ves pending surveillance. Sunday- Started oﬀ very busy again taking over for dayshi?. And stayed consistent throughout the night. Oﬃcer Howard worked an alleged rape call where Tracy Towle claimed she had been raped Saturday and asked for an ambulance to the hospital. Mul?ple aspects of her story did not line up including ?mes, suspects and witnesses. Neither the doc or the sane nurse felt comfortable performing an exam as she appears to be experiencing some sort of mental decline and has a history of med seeking. On call was no?ﬁed for this as well and ul?mately, she le? AMA. Ms. Towle might be a good prospect for the mobile crisis unit in the future. At 0155 Oﬃcers were dispatched to a disturbance at Washington Park Apts. Once oﬃcers arrived, they learned a domes?c ba?ery had occurred as well as some other misdemeanors. The male half (Elias Silva) went bizerk once he was detained and again, we u?lized the WRAP. He lost consciousness and paramedics were called. He was comba?ve all the way to the hospital. The Laserﬁsche warrant process was used and he was cited for other misdemeanor crimes. While at the hospital wai?ng for Mr. Silva to be cleared Oﬃcer Howard responded to a ﬁght in the parking lot of the ER along with security. One half of the ﬁght drove oﬀ quickly and the other half lied about his name. Oﬃcer Howard ﬁgured it out and Mr. Delﬁno Cruz was taken to jail on mul?ple felony warrants out of Jerome and IDOC!! I apologize if I missed anyone or any event, it was a crazy weekend, you all did great!
