HomeMy WebLinkAboutRepeat Incident Bulletin Mike Plane From:Courtney Cunningham Sent:Thursday, February 15, 2024 15:40 To:Justin Dimond Subject:Repeat Incident Bulletin Lieutenant, This morning I men?oned a report that Nampa PD does, called the Repeat Incident Bulle?n. I think that this report could be of value to our officers who may be able to see a pa?ern or iden?fy possible safety issues, in case they are dispatched to one of these loca?ons. I would like to start doing this report weekly and distribu?ng it to patrol if you and the Command Staff find it valuable and worth the ?me. I pulled this data today and put together an example of what this could look like, please look at it and let me know if you think it has value, if there are any changes that you think should be made, or if you don’t think that it doesn’t have value and shouldn’t con?nue. The purpose is to highlight any poten?al problem people or loca?ons that may not ini?ally appear important or be highlighted in a shi? report, of course, the call informa?on will change weekly and some will be more cri?cal than others. I have filtered out any crash informa?on, traffic stops, animal control calls, and code enforcement responses. I have also used my discre?on in filtering out any loca?ons that don’t appear to be significant, or a threat to the community or our officers. The incidents highlighted in yellow occurred in the last 7 days. Let me know what you think and how you would like to proceed. Best, Courtney M.
