Okay. That makes sense, but we are going to need to get people together to chat. The water team is looking at making a
couple of very large expenditures in the next week or so. We will need to look at revenues, expenses and maybe hit the
pause bu?on.

Subject: Water Revenue
I was incorrect when I showed you the water revenue we were an?cipa?ng last week. I had pulled all the water fees in
total instead of just the user fees. It looks like we will actually end up being about $500k short instead of over
(conserva?vely assuming there is no change in the last 2 months of the year) – which equates to only about 4% short of
our expecta?on. Over the last few years, we have been trying to es?mate water revenue more accurately, so although it
is showing only 59% of total revenues budgeted, this isn’t “bad” because we are s?ll going to be rela?vely close. I plan
on poin?ng out that being 70% of budget, ¾ of the way through the year means we under-budgeted the amount (which
makes sense because we couldn’t have budgeted the crazy growth that we had and we ul?mately made over budget)
and doesn’t necessarily mean we “win”.
