FYI I went with something a little more mellow on social media this morning ?? We love budgeting so much that we broke it up into 8 crazy nights where we discuss City budget priorities with the Council and community. We invite city residents to join us and see how their tax dollars are being used locally and what is proposed for the year ahead. Hear about the challenges and opportunities facing the City, and how the City of Twin Falls plans to fund them. Follow a specific discussion on a community topic that interest you, or be the super citizen who attends the entire budget discussion. We'll leave it up to you: *Monday, July 1: Overview of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 City Manager’s Recommended Budget *Monday, July 15: Accessible and Environmental Community priorities *Monday, July 23: Learning and Secure Community priorities *Monday, July 30: Healthy and Prosperous Community priorities *Monday, August 6: Responsible Community and Internal Organization priorities & Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Preliminary Budget *Monday, August 19: Public Hearing and Adoption of the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget More information about the City of Twin Falls' Budget process is available here: LINK From: Travis Rothweiler <trothweiler@tfid.org> Date: Friday, June 14, 2024 at 5:40 PM To: Joshua Palmer <jpalmer@tfid.org> Subject: Re: shameless promotion of your budget... Maybe after the P&Z hearing and the appeal process concludes? Travis Rothweiler Sent from my iPhone 1 On Jun 14, 2024, at 2:27 PM, Joshua J. These hearings are the most effective opportunity for city residents to provide input on city priorities and how millions of dollars in funds should be allocated, but we don’t normally have many citizens attend the public hearings. If only there was some way to draw attention to the city budget…” \[LINK to City BUDGET PSA\] <image001.png> 2
