Mr. Rothweiler,
Are you aware of the Road Safety Audit for Filer Avenue wri?en by DKS in February of 2022 using LHTAC funding? The
report provided a very good review of safety items, and offered some great recommenda?ons that would improve safety
in an important school zone.
1) Do you know if ANY recommenda?ons have been completed in the 2 years since that report? Some of the striping
recommenda?ons appear to provide substan?al benefit at very low cost. I couldn't iden?fy any that had been completed
from a cursory review.
2) Some of the recommenda?ons in February 2022 involved this intersec?on where a pedestrian accident occurred in
August 2023. Have the pedestrian and driver been no?fied of this report's existence?

3) In which year is funding budgeted for comple?on of the recommenda?ons of that report?
My FOIA request was for the most recent RSA, and I received the February 2022 one referenced. Considering that the
previously completed RSA could have saved a child from being struck by a vehicle, when does the City an?cipate the next
RSA will be completed?
Thank you,
Trevor Root
