You’re absolutely right, I have 1x2s. I can meet you out there when you get back if that’s ok? From: Jesse Bowman Sent: Thursday, April 20, 2023 7:44:21 AM To: Brad Baisch Subject: RE: Idaho Police Canine Association Conference I thought the last time we spoke you said you had a box of the 1x2 for the prop. Let me know if I need to pick some up for you. Do you have time to run out to the site tomorrow? Thanks, Jesse From: Brad Baisch <BBaisch@tfid.org> Sent: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 5:45 PM To: Jesse Bowman <jbowman@tfid.org> Subject: RE: Idaho Police Canine Association Conference 1 Yes, thank you. I was going to follow up with training sites on Monday. I should just need the prop, and the 1 x 2’s to secure it. We should be good with what’s out there, I’m hoping for good weather. We will make sure we clean up after ourselves. I was able to get the door prop relocated to the training facility. Anything else that you need? I’m going to be gone the last week of April and the first week of May. That week is going to be a crazy week because I’ll have the new recruit class starting on May 8th as well and there is going to be a conference there the weekend prior to yours. We still have only 1 blue room there and no classroom building. I know I don’t have to say it but just making sure there is a cleanup plan in place for the dog waste and other misc. garbage. Let me know what you need. We could also do that at the Training Facility, if that would help. I could meet them over there anytime during the day though. They can call me if that works better for them and ill run over there. 208-308-8383 I also just remembered you guys have a fog machine. Any chance I could use that to fill up a box car at the “haunted swamp” around the corner for a “gas” exposure? 2 Thanks, Brad From: Jesse Bowman <jbowman@tfid.org> Sent: Wednesday, February 22, 2023 3:01 PM To: Brad Baisch <BBaisch@tfid.org> Cc: Devin Slagel <Dslagel@tfid.org> Subject: RE: Idaho Police Canine Association Conference Brad, th, When we spoke about meeting Tuesday Feb 28 I forgot that I’m going to out of town for a training. I talked to Capt Slagel at station 1 and he said Engine 1 crew could meet you over there on Tuesday if you could give them a time when you would like to meet. This conference is only held in our area about every 8 – 10 years. I am reaching out to you to see about utilizing the new training complex and potentially your mechanical breaching door (if they aren’t available in the training complex). I am hoping to teach some scenarios involving using dogs during a mechanical breach of a residential door. I would also like to utilize the structure for some building searches if possible. The dates of the conference are May 8 – May 12. I would like to use the complex for K9 training on Tuesday May 9, and Wednesday May 10. If this is something we may be able to utilize, please don’t hesitate to call or email me back. You and your guys are more than welcome to come watch or help if you would like.
