Wow! That is crazy. Do we know what the other plan holders did not bid? Let me know if you want me to reach out to
my friend at Chobani to fill him in.

Subject: Canyon Trail Junction Bid
We held the bid opening for the Canyon Trail Junc?on and Chobani Wellness Park project at 1p today.
We had one contractor, Faber Construc?on, submit a bid. The bid was for: $2,928,593. Prior to releasing the bid packets,
we pulled the exercise equipment and the entrance monument sign out of the bid since we hadn’t specified the pieces
or the manufacturer and were planning to install those in a separate bid and contract, so that would be on top of this
number.
At this point, we believe we should request council reject the bid.
There was considerable interest in the project, I believe there were 13 plan holders. Josh recommended, and we agree,
that we make some calls to understand why they didn’t submit bids before we determine our next step (modify plans
and rebid or nego?ate).
