Hopefully the fine will be stiff enough that they learn their lesson!

Correct, they can pay the fines and us not go to court.

Makes perfect sense. I’ll talk to Lynn and Matt about getting some recordings if I’m not home.
So it would only go to court if they decided to fight it, correct?

I spoke with our legal team. Shayne just requested that should it go to the level of citation (which you can sign it): to
have good video/audio recording of the dogs barking excessively from you.
For our standard response, we prefer 2 warnings before a citation is issued. But, it is your choice if you want to sign the
nd
citation now or call us out to hear it bark again and issue a 2 warning. Definitely have a good recording or two for
evidence, if you are ready to cite.
Thanks,
Danielle

Thank you. It was heartbreaking to hear the news about Kona, but for the most part she is still doing pretty good. She’s
eating and drinking and still has her fun personality (when she’s not confused). Matt keeps her active by playing her
favorite fetch games.
My neighbor actually texted (Lynn) and also wanted to know what can be done. I will tell her what you said. So there is
no conflict of me working here, she may sign the citation if it goes that far. Would that include court?
Thanx again for your input.

Hey Deb,
Sorry about to hear about your Lab’s diagnosis! No one else in the neighborhood seems to be calling in about the issue…
ndnd
So, I think call it in the next time it is barking, so I can hear it and issue the 2 notice. If a 2 notice doesn’t work, I think
you might want to consider requesting to sign a citation for it disturbing your peace.
The 2nd notice can still be done anon, so hopefully that will work. If not, and you choose to sign the citation, please be
aware that it can’t be don’t anonymously…
Let me know,
Danielle

Hi Danielle –
I’m so sorry to bother you again about the barking dogs at 2018 Trail Creek Cir, but they are driving the neighborhood
crazy.
Even the neighbors beside us put up the sonic birdhouses but it hasn’t seemed to help.
Sadly our sweet black lab was diagnosed with dementia recently. She needs to have her surroundings quiet or she gets
stressed and her symptoms are worse.
What is our next step to try to get some peace?
Thanx so much,
Deb
