I think we had planned on just as you described with the Special events course and the det diagnostics. What is you thought on the lunches? It would make it easy for payment to include lunch with the course price. ----- Original Message ----- From: "scurtis" <scurtis@wmdtech.com> To: "Todd Hyatt" <todd.hyatt@slcgov.com>, "Jason D. I was asked to come up with a Canyon Thunder type event to happen before year end. I have put together a special events course that is 3 days in length. This is course that we have been doing for a lot of large squads in California, Philadelphia, Texas and New York. This a very hands on course with 1 1/2 days of exercises using 110 inert device in assorted packages such as printed cinch bags, back packs, boxes, etc. In addition there will be 300 packages with our inert IED’s in them. All of the devices can be cut into and dealt with as a normal package would be. The Exercises are driven by a detonation that leave people injured and the bomb squad has to clear the area to save the lives of the injured and first responder. It will use rapid X-Ray, Detonator diagnostics, and hand access. This course will include shirts with either option a or b. I have not included lunches into it. If you would like me to include lunches let me know. This would be a good course to do in St. George this time of year. I have it penciled in Nov 29th - Dec 1st just so I didn’t plan something on top of it. I was planning on doing one of the Det Diagnostic courses for you at this same time. Either before or after it is up to you. I understand things can change so no worries if this is not what you want. Just let me know either way please. If you want to do the training I need to get started on the device builds. Also if you have any questions feel free to call or text I will be in Houston next week.
