Subject:Night Shift Report 11/17/2022-11/20/2022
Major Info:
Friday
Officer McClain worked with Probation and Parole on the residence of 226 Washington St. N. #1 and in looking
for Ben Wayment and Mason Mclaws. With much patience and diligence Officer McClain and others were able
to get inside of the residence and perform a home search with Probation and Parole. Mr. Mclaws was taken into
custody on multiple felonies and as well as other one other subject. The whereabouts of Ben Wayment are still
unknown.
Prosecutor Nicole Swafford contacted our team about a male by the name of Trevor J. Root is stalking her and
leaving things at her residence and may have followed her to a store a time or two. A case is being put together
and will be submitted to the county prosecutor for charges. In the meantime please pay attention around her
residence for unusual activity. Mr. Root drive a 2020 White Ford F-250 and is currently living in Buhl.
Officer McClain was dispatched to a hit and run accident where later she was able to locate the vehicle a few
blocks away. Upon her investigations observed drugs in plain view inside of the vehicle. Due to the accident and
the vehicle blocking a driveway the drugs and drug paraphernalia were removed from the vehicle and was able
to identify the driver of the hit and run as well as who the items belong to. Mckay Greenwood is the suspect and
she will be submitting for a warrant for him.
Saturday
Officers received a disturbance call near the area of Filer and Jackson St. We received a similar call on Friday
evening. A large amount of juveniles are coming and going from this area. Officer McClain and C. Christensen
were able to determine the residence is 403 Filer Ave. This residence could probably can use more attention in
the future. It appears minors are using alcohol and marijuana is the main issue.
Sunday
Officer McClain observed Ben Wayment posted an item for sale on Facebook Market and based off the picture
several officers believed it was the Motel 6. After speaking with the clerk it was determined that Ben Wayment
and Roman Nazarko were in possible two rooms. Mr. Nazarko has an active warrant out of Ada county and
IDOC with violent cautions with original charge of robbery. Officers sat at the Motel 6 for awhile hoping to
gather more information or see the subjects leaving but had no success. We will pass the information to dayshift
and if possible have SIU work this a little further.
Recruit Haringsma conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle for some basic violations and noticed the driver to have
very nervous behavior. Recruit Haringsma had the driver exit and they were able to take the subject into custody
