Board of Directors Nominations and Elections
Nominations are now open for four seats on the Board of Directors. The Board oversees the governance,
vision, finances and policy development of the Chamber. Directors meet monthly and attend Chamber
functions and committee meetings as needed. Elections will start at the end of January and three year
terms begin in March. If you are interested in running for one of the seats on the Board, please email
current Chair of the Board, Grayson Stone at grayson@tokcommercial.com with your name, business
name, and contact information. Self-nomination is allowed. Contact Grayson at 208-948-0808 for
additional information. Accepting nominations until December 31st, 2023.

Twin Falls School District
This year the Twin Falls School District will be participating in the Avenues for Hope, an online giving
campaign. Last year, the TFSD identified roughly 400 children as homeless. We’re on track to have more
than that number this school year. This means that children didn’t have fixed, adequate, or regular
housing. We rely heavily on our community to help meet the needs of these families. What can you do to
help? Share our stories on Facebook or Instagram from Dec. 12-31 and visit the TFSD’s Avenues for

The College of Southern Idaho Recreation Center is having a sale on year long memberships. For $230

First Federal Bank
The First Federal Foundation has announced a total of 19 non-profits, all located in the Magic and
Treasure Valleys, will be receiving $51,969 in combined support from the Foundation’s winter grant cycle.
Over 50 applications were submitted for consideration during this most recent grant period, the second of
the Foundation’s bi-annual funding time frames. The Foundation also made contributions to 16 Southern
Idaho-based charitable organizations in July. Overall, during 2023, the First Federal Foundation impacted
35 different non-profits and awarded over $110,000 in support. Since being established in 2003, the
Foundation has now distributed more than $1.4 million towards community enhancements.

The priority deadline for Idaho LAUNCH has passed, but that doesn’t mean high school seniors are out of
luck. The high school graduating class of 2024 can still apply for Idaho LAUNCH to get up to $8,000
toward tuition and fees. That money goes further at CSI. Essentially get a degree for no out of pocket

Habitat for Humanity of the Magic Valley

The 13th Annual Avenues for Hope Housing Challenge in play Dec 12-stroke of midnight the
31st. Habitat has a goal of 300 donors and raising funds for an additional home $100000. We have
matching funds from DLEvans, Bank of Idaho, Pioneer Federal Credit Union, First Federal Bank, Farmers
Bank, and our Habitat Angel will drop a Mystery Donation when we hit the 300 donors. Minimum
donation is $25, each email equals a different donor so give creatively.
