Cost of publication of an ordinance which implements this request is not included in this fee. The publication cost is the responsibility
of the applicant. After ordinance approval by the City Council,the Times News will call the applicant with the cost and will publish only
after receipt of payment. Your request is not final until publication of the implementing ordinance. Pursuant to State law,the implementing
ordinance must be published within one month of passage to become effective.
C. PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE/SCHEDULING OF THE APPLICATION THE APPLICANT MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING:
1. The applicant must prove control of the property for which the request is being made by providing ONE of the following:
a. Copy of Warranty Deed,or
b. Copy of Earnest Money Agreement or Contract of Sale,duly acknowledged by BOTH Buyer and Seller.
2. Property Owner Notification
The applicant must provide a CONSOLIDATED LIST of name and addresses of all LEGAL property owners within a specified
perimeter of the subject property and any additional area that may be impacted by the proposed change as determined by the
Zoning Administrator.A list of these parcels will be made available to you by staff once your permit application has been
reviewed and the perimeter has been determined. Once the list of parcels has been generated by staff,the list will be provided
to you so that you may obtain the property owner and mailing addresses from either of the following:
a. from the County Assessor's Office, OP
b. from a title company
The completed list of names addresses and parcel numbers must be submitted back to the Zoning &Development
Department in order for your request to be scheduled for a public hearing.
3. A site plan to SCALE on an 8%"x 11"paper,of the subject property showing the following:
a. Detailed area map indicating the area requested for vacation and adjoining properties;
4. Provide a Detailed Written Statement On A Separate Sheet Of Paper Containing:
a. The reason for the request indicating the intended use of the vacated property.
b. An evaluation of the effects of the vacation on all adjoining properties.
5. ALSO Provide the following:
a. A written statement from each of the owners of the aforesaid sold lots indicating whether or not they are in
agreement with vacating the proposed right-of-way and/or private easement.
b. A written stated from each of the utility companies,on utility company letterhead, indicating whether or not they
are in agreement with vacating the public easement.

Supplemental Information
For the Vacation of Existing Easements
The owner of the property is requesting a vacation of public utility easement as described in the
application to accommodate the development of a hotel building site.This vacation of easement is
necessary to re-route existing utilities outside of the proposed building pad. The affected utility
companies have been notified and have provided written reply to this request.Alternate paths and
routes will be identified and the utilities will then be relocated as part of the development of the
property.
The impacts to the surrounding lands are expected to be minimal as a result of the vacation and re-
routing. Minor interruptions of service and prior scheduled outages will be planned as part of the
development to minimize the realized impacts to the surrounding properties.

Thanks for the phone call. We will be more than happy to prepare a letter stating we relinquish our rights for a portion
of the PUE in the Canyon Park Subdivision. We have every intention of relinquishing those rights when our facilities are
no longer present and the attached application has been completed and retuned to me by EHM engineers.
It sounds like the city would like some reassurances that we will relinquish our rights so hopefully this email will
accomplish that. Please forward this email to Dave Thibault or directly to the City if it will help. Also, if the City would
like a more formal letter of our plans I can prepare that as well.

Reference is made to your request for CenturyLink to vacate the two existing 10' easements
along the East lot line and the existing 10' easement through the middle of lot 6 Block 1, Canyon
Park Subdivision located in the City of Twin Falls, County of Twin Falls, State of Idaho.
CenturyLink has main facilities in both easements and will need new easements to feed the
visitor's center and all the buildings attached to Dick's Sporting Goods.
If existing utilities need to be vacated contruction charges would apply for relocation of
facilities.

I believe you and I spoke about this location and easement.
IGC has facilities in this area and would not vacate the easement without a new easement and payment for the cost of
moving the main.
Again, if I remember right,the potential builder(Hotel) wanted to know if it was doable and at what cost.
I have not received the proposed easement relocation for an estimate of cost.
Let's discus when you have a minute.
