Documentation From Observers
The following are testimonials from observers that were present during our drop weight test on
Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Seismic activity was measured and recorded. I do want to make a point that even
though the seismic activity wasn’t enough to create structural damage, any permeating consistent
vibration does affect the sensory deprived nature of our services. One off occurrences tend to not
disturb our services as much as a constant everyday occurrences would.

To Whom this May Concern.
Float Magic has been extremely important to my overall health and wellbeing.
Currently, I am a member and utilize multiple services on a weekly basis. On May 7,
2024, I was requested to join Float Magic in listening to sounds emanating from a
potential new business to the back of the building. I was asked to give honest feedback
on any interference to my visit that could affect overall safety and tranquility.
At first, I was in the Zen room, feeling vibrations and thumping sounds in brief intervals,
around 4:30 PM to 4:45PM. This continued when I moved to the IR sauna at around
4:54PM, where the vibrations affected the IR panels, causing a rattling with each thump.
I’m grateful for the chance to speak up and safeguard the serene atmosphere of Float
Magic. This enables me to have a peaceful experience as I concentrate on my
emotional fitness and overall well-being.
Sincerely,
SONYA BLACK HAINES

I observed a group participating in a workout at the CrossFit building on 5/7/24. They started with
spinning bikes, pull-ups, and bar lifting that didn’t make any vibrations in the CrossFit Building. When
the workout added weights to the bars, individuals were dropping them throughout their workout
which created a lot of reverberation from the metal weights hitting the floor. I observed for about 45
minutes and I had a headache afterwards because of the vibrations. I previously worked at Bearded Axe,
the axe throwing gym, and without absorption earplugs, would get the same headaches from the
reverberation of the metal axes constantly hitting the wall. Something needs to be done to absorb
the reverberations to create pleasant experiences for surrounding businesses' clients as well as potential
clients for the CrossFit gym. It was demonstrated to me that the weights can be dropped with crash
pads underneath which decreased the reverberation significantly. Ashlynn Dodds

To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Cameron Riley and I am employed at Float Magic. On Tuesday May 7th, 2024 I was asked to
go to the center and be there while Twin Falls CrossFit conducted a trial run of weights being dropped.
When weight dropping began I was in our float suite closest to Twin Falls CrossFit. Once weight dropping
began I could hear it where I was located. It sounded like a series of small thuds. I then was asked to
switch places and go to the CrossFit gym to ensure weight dropping was being done.

To Whom It May Concern:
On Tuesday May 7th, 2024 I was asked to go to Float Magic and observe weight dropping from Twin
Falls CrossFit located behind Float Magic.
I could hear when weights were being dropped. I was positioned in the lobby closest to the front of the
building. I took a video where you can see water in a bottle ripple from the dropping. I arrived at Float
Magic at 3:45pm and throughout the hour of observation I could hear the weights being dropped.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
