RE: Request for Public Records
To Whom it May Concern:
The purpose of this letter is to make a formal written request for the copying, examination
and inspection of public records pursuant to the Idaho Public Records Act, IDAHO CODE §§ 74-
101 et seq. We have directed this request to your office with the understanding that your office is
the custodian of the public records requested herein. If we are incorrect, please advise so our
request may be directed to the appropriate custodian.Pursuant to IDAHO CODE§ 74-102,we hereby
request a copy of the following public records:
• A copy of the Knife River preliminary plat; and
• Copy of as-builts of Hankins Road at Eldridge Ave. crossroad.
When the requested public records are copied and available, please advise and we will
make arrangements for their delivery to our office, or they can be transmitted to me by email at
kelsea@sawtoothlaw.com. We will also promptly pay the reasonable copying fee allowed by
IDAHO CODE § 74-102(10). If the requested public records are so voluminous that it may be
necessary that you charge administrative or labor costs pursuant to IDAHO CODE § 74-102(10),
then please first advise and we may wish to conduct an inspection and examination of the public
records so as to determine what exact public records we may wish to photocopy.
Pursuant to IDAHO CODE§74-103,a response to this request is due within three(3)working
days, unless you need additional time to prepare the public records, in which case a response is
due within ten (10)working days.
