Hi Austin, the last time that the occupant load was determined was back in 1985. I am attaching two documents...one from 1977 and the last one from 1985. There are two different occupant load numbers, and I would say go with the lower total number until you need to do a major remodel that would require a new Certificate of Occupancy. I'm happy to have a conversation with you to discuss occupant load if need be. I did speak with Gabriel Hammett our Fire Marshal who was aware of the reconfiguration of the fire alarm system. He just mentioned that there are different options,but in the end, he just wants to see it meet code.
