An investigation fee, equal to the amount of the appropriate fee, shall be assessed if construction has begun prior to obtaining said permit. TWIN FALLS FIRE DEPARTMENT FLAMMABLE AND/OR COMBUSTIBLE LIQUID UNDER AND/OR ABOVEGROUND STORAGE TANK PERMIT REQUIREMENTS The City of Twin Falls does require that a permit be obtained to install, alter, remove, abandon, place temporarily out of service, or otherwise dispose of any flammable and/or combustible liquid tanks. New Installations : Two ( 2 ) sets of the following plans are required for permit appli- cations . 1 . Complete plot plan drawn to scale with the following informa- tion: A. North arrow. B. Scale of drawing. C. Legal description. D. owner ' s name, address, and telephone number. E. Property line and lot dimensions . F. Street( s) name. G. Setbacks from property lines - front, sides , rear; tanks and pump buildings . H. Location of all buildings on property showing relationship, tank locations , and pump locations. I . Details and specifications of proposed type of corrosion protection. J. Details and specifications of piping and swing joint mate- rials. K. Dimensions and capacity (gallons ) of tanks. Alterations , Abandonment , Place Temporarily Out of Service of Existing Installations : Two ( 2 ) sets of the following are required for permit applications. 1 . owner ' s name, address , and telephone number. 2 . Details and specifications of items to be altered, abandoned, or placed temporarily out of service. -2- Removal of Existing Tanks: 1 . Address of tank( s ) location. 2 .
