Over next 8 hours .removed over 75 gallons of raw sewage. Called and informed the City sewer department, they sent a truck to service the sewer system and the sewage flow stopped. Cleaned up as much as possible for the reminder of the day - the smell was terrible. Saturday, June 13, 2020 — called Claude Brown's Water Damage Restoration and Flood Damage Restoration (Brown's), they inspected the damage,, removed carpet from the basement, sprayed disinfectant and started fans to dry the walls, etc. Monday, June 15, 2020 — called the City of Twin Falls to report a Claim for Damages (Katy Touchette, Wellness & Safety Coordinator). Current status is Brown's has fans running, will assess damages and make the necessary repairs to restore the basement. City of Twin Falls will be invoiced for the repairs.
