Re: WASTEWATER COLLECTION FOAMING EVENT PUBLIC RECORDS
REQUEST
To whom it may concern,
After finding out about the foaming event that occurred on March 30, 2025, the city sent a letter
to all carwashes and hotels that are connected to the city's wastewater system. This was because
these were thought to be some of the most likely sources of detergent that would cause the foam.
Additionally, the information was shared through a press release and other social media outlets.
This was done to help bring awareness to the issue, hoping the source might be identified.
Unfortunately, no response was received. Subsequently, no written reports of violations to a
commercial business have been written.
